The Destination

Noosa offers a touch of cosmopolitan set against a stunning beach and national park backdrop. With cuisine that competes on an international scale, restaurants and bars flanked by white sands and blue ocean on one side and designer boutiques on the other, lush greenery just a stroll away and a wide range of activities, Noosa is the number one business event destination. It is also the gateway to World Heritage-listed Fraser Island and the Great Sandy Biosphere Reserve.

Noosa is easily accessible by road, air and rail, located 120km north of Brisbane on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The domestic airport, with daily flights from Sydney and Melbourne, is only 20 minutes away, and Brisbane’s International and Domestic Airports are about 90 minutes away. There are daily shuttle services from both airports to Noosa, or limousine, care and private shuttle hire are available.

As Queensland’s first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Noosa enjoys a unique and sustainable relationship between its people and the environment. Many of the region’s venues operate in line with recognised eco-friendly programs and sustainable business practices.

Noosa enjoys an average annual temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, making it an ideal climate for year-round outdoor activities, swimming and alfresco dining.

Just how close to a humpback whale would you feel comfortable being? Watching the majesty of humpbacks as they travel through the warm waters off Noosa on their annual migration north is an unforgettable sight – their playful tail slaps, breaches, sprays and fin ‘waves’ seem even more incredible when you consider their size … around 15m in length and weighing more than 35 tonnes!
