The Noosa River shores will come to life with Christmas spirit for the annual Lighting of the Noosaville Christmas Trees on the Boathouse lawn and at Thomas Corner.

Presented by Noosa Boathouse and Noosaville Business Association, this free event will kick-start the festive season on the Noosa River. Old-school surfer band The Sandfly’s will perform Christmas carols on the Boathouse lawn from 5pm.

The lighting of the Thomas Street and the Noosa Boathouse trees will be at 6.45pm.

Get there early to find a good spot.

Fish and chips will be available from Noosa Boathouse, and there will be a sausage sizzle, or just bring your own picnic.

Charity donations can be made to Sunshine Butterflies during the event.
